As a Weekend Event Specialist, you'll work at iconic venues like the French Quarter, Warehouse District, and Convention Center. We offer competitive pay, rapid onboarding, and opportunities for advancement. No experience required – we provide comprehensive training!
Responsibilities
- Set up and break down event venues including tents, tables, and decorations
- Manage guest registration and check-in processes with tablets
- Provide exceptional customer service and directional assistance
- Monitor crowd flow and enforce venue safety protocols
- Collaborate with vendors and event coordinators
- Assist with emergency procedures and incident reporting
- Maintain clean and organized workspaces throughout shifts
Qualifications
- Must be available Saturdays and Sundays (8am-8pm shifts)
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours with frequent lifting (up to 40lbs)
- Strong communication skills and friendly demeanor
- Reliable transportation to downtown New Orleans locations
- Valid government-issued ID and ability to pass background check
- Quick learner with ability to follow detailed instructions
- Experience in hospitality, security, or events preferred but not required
