Responsibilities
- Patrol and monitor event venues and facilities to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
- Enforce all venue rules, regulations, and security policies, including access control and crowd management.
- Respond promptly and professionally to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations.
- Conduct thorough bag checks and searches to prevent prohibited items from entering the venue.
- Communicate effectively with venue management, law enforcement, and fellow security personnel.
- Document all incidents, observations, and activities in the security logbook accurately and timely.
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests while maintaining a professional and authoritative presence.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid Nevada State Security License. (Relocation assistance available for out-of-state candidates).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year of security experience in the hospitality or events industry preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods, often in varying weather conditions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Current First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
