Responsibilities
- Coordinate setup and teardown of weekend events at oceanfront venues
- Manage vendor relationships and vendor check-in procedures
- Oversee guest registration and attendee flow management
- Execute event timelines and ensure seamless activity transitions
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve on-site issues promptly
- Maintain safety protocols and emergency response procedures
- Conduct post-event cleanup and venue restoration
Qualifications
- Must be available for all weekend shifts (Saturday & Sunday)
- Previous event coordination or hospitality experience preferred
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to stand/walk for 6+ hours and lift 25 lbs
- Valid Virginia driver's license and reliable transportation
- Flexibility to work in outdoor weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of event technology (registration systems, AV)
- Positive attitude and customer-first mindset
