Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers entering the Oakland location with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Assist customers with product inquiries, providing recommendations and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.
- Maintain the sales floor, ensuring merchandise is organized, displayed attractively, and shelves are fully stocked.
- Handle cash handling duties, including counting drawers, making bank deposits, and resolving minor discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the management team to implement visual merchandising standards and store promotions.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail or customer service experience is a strong plus.
- Must be available to work weekends, specifically Saturdays and Sundays, for a minimum of 4 hours per shift.
- Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers and team members.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to navigate POS systems quickly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
