Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move freight, packages, and materials safely and efficiently using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Prepare items for shipment by sorting, labeling, and applying appropriate shipping materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy and report discrepancies immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company safety protocols.
- Operate scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track incoming and outgoing inventory.
- Assist in packing, sealing, and labeling boxes for local and national delivery.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required (training provided).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Must be available to work weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on a rotating schedule.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate handheld scanners.
