Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and medication assistance
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Coordinate with nursing staff on patient care plans
- Ensure sterile environments and infection control protocols
- Respond promptly to patient calls and emergencies
- Support patient education and family communication
Qualifications
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work weekends (Sat/Sun) with rotating shifts
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- NYS Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
- Background check and drug screening mandatory
