Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain 3-5 year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead immersive innovation workshops with executive teams to translate future insights into actionable strategies
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and whitepapers on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to identify breakthrough innovations
- Design and implement early-warning systems for disruptive market shifts and technological discontinuities
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and strategic foresight practices
- Present findings to stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narrative storytelling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused corporate strategy
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and societal impact
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to translate complex futures into executive narratives
- Experience publishing thought leadership in industry journals or major media outlets
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research skills with data visualization proficiency
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists) required
