Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through quantitative/qualitative research
- Develop innovation roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections and stakeholder objectives
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development cycles
- Deliver executive briefings on emerging threats and opportunities across industry verticals
- Build and maintain an ecosystem of futurists, academics, and venture partners
- Author thought leadership publications and scenario-planning frameworks
- Oversee the implementation of emerging tech pilots and rapid innovation sprints
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and executive communication skills
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) or equivalent
- Experience building innovation ecosystems in Fortune 500 settings
