Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and societal shifts to forecast market evolution through 2026
- Develop actionable strategic frameworks for product innovation and business transformation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and opportunities
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings with data-driven insights
- Partner with R&D and product teams to integrate future-ready concepts into development roadmaps
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess commercial viability
- Represent the company at industry forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Business, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurist roles with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation experience
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight academy)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
