Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026+ strategic innovation roadmap using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to commercialize emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence)
- Produce executive-level trend reports and disruption assessments for key industry verticals
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners and government agencies
- Build and manage a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate foresight insights into product roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Represent the company at global innovation forums and thought leadership platforms
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500/tech unicorn experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies and disrupting markets
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, Innovation Management, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for complex future scenarios
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, books, keynotes)
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Foresight Platform, Scenarioplus, Trend Hunter Pro)
- Experience advising C-suite on long-term strategy and risk mitigation
