Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, socio-economic shifts, and geopolitical trends to identify disruptive opportunities for 2026-2030
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to guide R&D investments and market expansion
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align leadership on future-focused innovation priorities
- Produce forward-looking reports and visualizations translating complex foresight into actionable insights
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to scout breakthrough innovations
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing future scenarios that influenced corporate strategy
- Expertise in AI/ML, biotech, quantum computing, or climate tech domains
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization skills with executive audiences
- Experience with futures research methodologies (horizon scanning, Delphi technique, etc.)
- Published thought leadership in reputable industry publications
