Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, bioengineering) and societal shifts to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain horizon scanning frameworks to anticipate market disruptions and competitive threats
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight insights into actionable strategic initiatives
- Produce high-impact trend reports and scenario-planning models for executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-focused solutions aligned with long-term vision
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to accelerate foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Proven track record of developing and implementing horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional analytical and systems thinking skills with ability to synthesize complex data
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through scenario planning and innovation workshops
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field preferred
- Published thought leadership in forespace or innovation strategy
