Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for emerging markets and industry disruptions
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams
- Present future insights to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Translate complex foresight data into actionable business recommendations
- Oversee innovation pipeline development and prototyping of future concepts
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or future studies
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial opportunities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence senior leadership
- Strong background in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS) preferred
- Experience building and managing innovation ecosystems in tech-driven environments
