Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, economics, and social domains
- Develop 2026 strategic scenarios and innovation roadmaps for executive stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and industry whitepapers
- Partner with R&D to prototype and test emerging solutions
- Monitor geopolitical and technological disruptors with real-time impact assessment
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists and domain experts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend extrapolation methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive-level storytelling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic innovations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
