Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework for technology and market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Produce annual trend reports with quantifiable impact assessments on industry verticals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists and build the foresight capability roadmap
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI, quantum computing, biotech convergence
- Exceptional data visualization and predictive modeling skills
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences
