Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized activity and ensure the safety of all personnel and assets.
- Monitor and operate security surveillance systems, CCTV cameras, and access control terminals.
- Respond immediately to alarms, disturbances, and medical emergencies following established protocols.
- Prepare detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
- Verify the identity of visitors and process access requests for employees and guests.
- Enforce company policies and local laws to maintain a secure environment.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and fire safety monitoring.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Valid Nevada State Security Guard License is mandatory.
- Clean criminal background check and drug screening required.
- Ability to work rotating night shifts, including weekends (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in basic computer operations for reporting.
