Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced patient care in high-acuity emergency settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during trauma activations
- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Supervise LVNs and nursing assistants during shifts
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict compliance with JCAHO and HIPAA regulations
Qualifications
- Active Arizona RN license (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required (ADN with 5+ years ED experience considered)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications mandatory
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
