Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead research into fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical machine learning frameworks
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patent novel quantum methodologies
- Collaborate with hardware teams to validate quantum circuit designs
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum information theory
- Present findings at international quantum conferences (e.g., Q2B, APS March Meeting)
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum focus
- 3+ years experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra and quantum information theory
- Proficiency with high-performance computing environments
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts for diverse audiences
- Strong track record of securing research grants or industry partnerships
