Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation
- Lead fault-tolerant quantum computing research using superconducting qubits
- Develop error correction protocols for large-scale quantum systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate quantum solutions into real-world applications
- Publish high-impact research in top-tier journals and conferences
- Secure external funding through NSF and DARPA grants
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years quantum research
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum machine learning
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science or equivalent venues
- Experience with cryogenic quantum hardware and control systems
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor junior researchers
