Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for real-world optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum-resistant cryptographic protocols
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to improve qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature, Science, or IEEE journals
- Secure $2M+ in annual R&D grants from NSF and DARPA

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Computational Mathematics
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in linear algebra, quantum mechanics, and complexity theory
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum circuit optimization
