Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and machine learning applications
- Develop error-corrected quantum architectures targeting 2026 technological milestones
- Lead cross-functional research teams in experimental quantum computing validation
- Author peer-reviewed publications and patents for quantum breakthroughs
- Collaborate with industry partners to commercialize quantum solutions
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum computing methodologies
- Secure and manage government and private research funding initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency with quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Demonstrated ability to secure research funding (NSF, DARPA, etc.)
