Responsibilities
- Architect and implement quantum computing frameworks for 2026-era applications
- Lead cross-functional research teams in developing quantum algorithms with 99.9% fidelity
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners to solve complex optimization problems
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D funding through grant proposals and industry partnerships
- Pioneer error correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Drive innovation in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Mentor PhD-level researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience with quantum computing hardware/software
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum error correction
- Expertise in at least two quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, etc.)
- Proven track record of securing research grants or venture funding
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence mitigation strategies
- Experience leading technical teams of 10+ researchers
- Patents in quantum computing or adjacent fields preferred
