Join our compassionate healthcare team as a Patient Care Assistant providing critical overnight support to patients at Tucson Regional Medical Center. This weekend night shift role offers an ideal entry point into healthcare with comprehensive training and a supportive environment. You'll work Friday-Sunday nights (7 PM-7 AM) delivering direct patient care while gaining valuable clinical experience.
Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and report changes to nursing staff
- Assist patients with daily living activities (bathing, mobility)
- Document patient observations accurately in electronic health records
- Stock and maintain patient care supplies
- Respond to patient call lights promptly
- Collaborate with night shift team on patient care plans
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification (training provided)
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Basic computer literacy
- Weekend night shift availability (Fri-Sun 7PM-7AM)
- Compassionate communication skills
- No prior healthcare experience required
