Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, EKGs, and specimen collection
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort during night/weekend shifts
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to clinical staff
- Maintain accurate medical records using Epic EHR system
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care transitions
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
- Support emergency response procedures during off-peak hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; CNA/MA certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in acute care or hospital setting
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work independently during night shifts and weekends
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
