Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital sign monitoring, bathing, and mobility assistance
- Assist nurses with patient examinations and medical procedures
- Accurately document patient information and maintain electronic health records
- Transport patients between departments and prepare treatment areas
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergency situations
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
