Responsibilities
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions overnight using advanced telemetry systems
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders during weekend shifts
- Document patient observations in EMR with 100% accuracy
- Respond to emergency codes with rapid-response team coordination
- Assist with patient mobility and ADLs during high-acuity overnight periods
- Collaborate with cross-functional weekend care teams for seamless transitions
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or EMT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in night/weekend rotations
- BLS/CPR certification with ability to maintain
- Proficient in Epic EMR systems
- Exceptional situational judgment during off-peak hours
- Spanish/English bilingual preferred for diverse patient population
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper mechanics
