Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility
- Administer medications under RN supervision
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Maintain clean and sanitized patient care environments
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure seamless care transitions
- Transport patients safely within facility using proper equipment
Qualifications
- Current California CNA or PCT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or hospital experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Exceptional communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Proficient with EHR systems (experience with Epic preferred)
