Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and wound care
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and basic lab procedures
- Manage patient flow and triage during peak overnight hours
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current California Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in urgent care or hospital setting
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic or NextGen preferred)
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
- Strong phlebotomy and EKG skills
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) and weekends
