Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during evening (6PM-6AM) and weekend shifts in fast-paced urgent care settings
- Administer medications, perform EKGs, and assist providers with clinical procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and patient documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and triage during peak weekend hours
- Assist with inventory management and supply chain for after-hours operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in urgent care or emergency settings
- Availability for rotating weekend shifts (Sat/Sun) and 12-hour night shifts
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification with current renewal
- Exceptional communication skills during high-pressure scenarios
- Ability to thrive in autonomous and collaborative environments
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient volumes during off-peak hours
