Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures during night/weekend shifts
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory tests
- Administer medications and injections as per physician orders
- Manage patient records using EHR systems with accuracy
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize equipment
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with emergency services during urgent situations
- Support weekend triage and patient flow management
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and clinical procedures
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
