Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs monitoring and mobility assistance
- Assist with patient hygiene, comfort, and safety protocols overnight
- Accurately document patient observations and care activities in electronic health records
- Collaborate with nursing staff during emergency response situations
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Respond promptly to patient call systems and alarms
- Support efficient handover processes between shifts
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA or PCT certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work variable weekends and holidays
- Proficient in EMR documentation systems
