Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide routine care during overnight shifts
- Administer medications accurately and document patient responses
- Respond to emergency situations following established protocols
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and day-shift teams for seamless care transitions
- Maintain detailed patient records and electronic health documentation
- Support patient comfort and well-being during overnight hours
- Assist with admission/discharge procedures for weekend patients
Qualifications
- Current Florida CNA or Medical Assistant certification required
- Minimum 1 year experience in overnight healthcare settings preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work independently with sound clinical judgment
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Flexibility to work alternating weekends and holidays
- Valid Florida driver's license (for transport duties if needed)
