Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using electronic health systems
- Collaborate with nursing staff to ensure continuity of care during shift transitions
- Perform safety checks and facility inspections to maintain regulatory compliance
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and comfort measures throughout the night
- Respond to patient call lights and address immediate care needs promptly
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee CNA certification or equivalent healthcare credential
- Minimum 1 year of experience in overnight shift healthcare settings
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (EMR)
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable transportation to cover multiple Nashville-area locations
