Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist patients with daily living activities including bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Respond to patient call bells and provide timely assistance during overnight hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans
- Maintain clean and organized patient rooms and treatment areas
- Operate medical equipment including EKG machines and vital sign monitors
- Participate in shift handoffs to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (CNA certification preferred but not required)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation systems
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain before start date
- Ability to remain calm during emergency situations
- Reliable transportation for weekend shifts (Fri-Sun 11PM-7AM)
- Background check and drug screen clearance required
