Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and document observations in electronic health records
- Assist with patient mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities
- Respond to patient call bells and provide timely interventions
- Collaborate with nursing staff on care plans and emergency responses
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Transport patients safely within the facility using proper equipment
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during overnight hours
Qualifications
- Current North Carolina CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification from AHA or equivalent
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours and lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic medical records
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Valid NC driver's license with clean record
