Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during weekend night shifts (Sat/Sun)
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor vital signs and report patient changes
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Coordinate with day-shift staff for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Current Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
- Basic EHR proficiency (Epic/EMR experience preferred)
- Tennessee state license in good standing
