Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care during weekend night shifts (Sat-Sun, 10 PM-6 AM)
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic laboratory procedures
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic systems
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Ensure sterile exam environments and proper instrument sterilization
- Respond to patient emergencies with calm professionalism
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA preferred)
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient in EHR systems (Epic experience a major plus)
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish preferred
