Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and vital sign monitoring during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Prepare and maintain sterile exam rooms and medical equipment
- Document patient encounters accurately in electronic health records
- Assist with emergency response procedures during night hours
- Coordinate with on-call physicians and nursing staff
- Manage patient flow and triage for overnight walk-ins
Qualifications
- Active California Medical Assistant certification (CMA/RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in fast-paced environment
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proven ability to work independently during night shifts
- Experience with Epic EHR systems preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability for every Saturday/Sunday night shift (6PM-6AM)
