Responsibilities
- Monitor premises via CCTV systems and patrols to prevent security breaches
- Respond promptly to alarms and emergency situations with professional composure
- Enforce access control policies and verify visitor credentials
- Complete detailed incident reports and shift documentation
- Collaborate with law enforcement during critical incidents
- Conduct regular property inspections for safety hazards
- Maintain radio communication with security team members
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Security Guard License (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Minimum 1 year security or law enforcement experience preferred
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours during overnight shifts
- Strong observational skills and situational awareness
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Proficient in using surveillance technology and reporting software
- Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation abilities
- Flexible availability for weekends and overnight shifts (10 PM - 6 AM)
