Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term strategic frameworks targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and validating emerging technologies and societal trends
- Conduct horizon scanning and scenario planning to anticipate disruptions
- Design and execute innovation workshops with stakeholders across R&D, product, and marketing
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP strategy for future-proofing core offerings
- Build and maintain external partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing innovation budgets $1M+
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
