Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency alerts during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Document patient progress in electronic health records with precision
- Assist with mobility, personal hygiene, and daily living activities
- Collaborate with cross-shift teams for seamless continuity of care
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during night shifts
Qualifications
- Current CNA or HHA certification required
- Minimum 1 year acute care or long-term experience
- BLS/CPR certification with valid expiration date
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours and lift 50+ lbs
- Exceptional communication and situational judgment
- Flexibility to work weekends and overnight shifts (6PM-6AM)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Experience with EMR systems preferred (Epic, Cerner)
