Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future trends into innovation pipelines and market entry strategies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports for executive board and investor briefings
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer next-generation forecasting models
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and trend analysis
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and industry summits
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and their societal implications
- Experience with Delphi methods, causal layered analysis, and other futures research tools
- Published thought leadership on long-term trends (white papers, books, or keynote presentations)
- Exceptional storytelling ability to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic implementation based on future foresight
