Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic roadmaps using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and predictive modeling
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership on emerging tech impacts (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Identify and assess disruptive opportunities across global markets through competitive intelligence
- Collaborate with R&D teams to translate future visions into product development roadmaps
- Present strategic insights to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, think tanks, and innovation labs
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and analytical frameworks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy, innovation, or futurist roles with demonstrable impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, synthetic biology) and market adoption curves
- Proven ability to translate complex futures into actionable business strategies
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Business, Technology, or related field
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend forecasting methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive-level experience
- Published thought leadership in futures or strategy publications preferred
- Proficiency in strategic planning tools (e.g., Palisade @RISK, Trend Hunter)
