Responsibilities
- Develop and implement forward-looking strategic frameworks for 2026+ initiatives
- Analyze global megatrends (AI, biotech, climate, etc.) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Design scenario-planning models for volatile market conditions and black swan events
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight into product development
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports for executive and board audiences
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor teams in future-thinking methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of predicting market shifts with documented case studies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into actionable insights
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategy publications
- Portfolio demonstrating strategic impact on organizational transformation
