Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and present scenario-based strategic frameworks to executive leadership
- Collaborate with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future market needs
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations at industry forums
- Quantify future risks and opportunities using predictive analytics and trend modeling
- Design strategic roadmaps for 5-10 year organizational transformation
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systems thinking frameworks
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business strategy
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and data visualization capabilities
- Published work in futurist or strategic foresight publications
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSP) strongly preferred
