Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 strategic vision roadmap through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop quantitative and qualitative future-state models for emerging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum)
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight into 3-year innovation pipelines
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders with compelling data narratives
- Establish and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Author quarterly future-state briefs for board and investor communications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology strategy
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial roadmaps
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner, Thinkhats)
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in future-tech or innovation journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., APF, CFIP) preferred
