Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for enterprise clients using trend analysis, scenario planning, and predictive modeling
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their commercial implications
- Produce executive-level trend reports with actionable recommendations for 2026 market positioning
- Build and maintain a proprietary futures intelligence database using NLP and machine learning tools
- Present strategic futures narratives to boards and executive leadership through compelling visual storytelling
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-state solutions and validate market readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futures research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, technology adoption curves, and systemic impact analysis
- Advanced proficiency in futures research methodologies (Delphi, STEEPLE, cross-impact matrices)
- Strong data visualization skills with tools like Tableau or Power BI for trend mapping
- Published thought leadership in futures or innovation (white papers, industry journals)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ strategic roadmaps implemented with measurable business impact
