Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning across biotech, quantum computing, AI ethics, and climate tech to identify disruptive opportunities
- Develop and maintain a dynamic 2026 strategic foresight framework with quarterly refresh cycles
- Lead scenario planning workshops with executive leadership to test strategic resilience
- Produce quarterly trend reports with quantified impact assessments on business operations
- Design innovation roadmaps integrating exponential technologies with human-centric design
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and policy think tanks
- Present future insights to investors, board members, and cross-functional teams
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist roles
- Proven experience developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies and scenario planning frameworks
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with visualization tools (Tableau, Flourish)
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or implemented strategic initiatives
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight.org)
