Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for 2026+ tech disruptions across AI, quantum, bio-engineering, and space domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario planning
- Collaborate with C-suite executives to integrate future trends into corporate strategy
- Present trend briefings to Fortune 500 partners and government innovation councils
- Manage a $500K innovation incubator fund for experimental 2026-proof projects
- Author 'State of Future' reports published in MIT Technology Review
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary TrendSight methodology
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn tech firms
- Published thought leadership on emerging tech (TED talks, peer-reviewed journals)
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AGI ethics, synthetic biology, or orbital infrastructure
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (Gartner, Forrester, custom AI models)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 2020+ trend predictions
- Security clearance for government innovation projects (or ability to obtain)
- Fluency in English and Mandarin/Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
