Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies, market trends, and global megatrends through 2026
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks and strategic roadmaps for disruptive innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business strategies
- Analyze competitive landscapes and anticipate paradigm shifts in key industries
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with quantifiable impact projections
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycle and innovation processes
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Planning, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 7+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology strategy
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills for complex concepts
- Experience leading high-impact strategic initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Certification in Futures Research or Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future strategy implementations
